The National Association of Pro Bono Professionals (NAPBPRO) offers the Hanna Cohn Equal Justice Conference Scholarship to its members to assist with the expenses of attending the annual ABA/NLADA Equal Justice Conference in San Francisco, CA, from May 15-17, 2025.
The scholarship can be used to cover lodging, travel, and registration fees, not to exceed $600 for any one person. The ABA Center for Pro Bono will waive the conference registration fee for one NAPBPRO Scholarship recipient.
The requirements are basic: An applicant must be a NAPBPRO member and submit an application providing a statement of need (limited to 500 words), along with a pledge to participate in NAPBPRO activities at the EJC and throughout the year. The scholarship is designed to assist pro bono professionals with program budgets that do not permit the expense of EJC attendance. A person may not combine this scholarship with others offered. Persons who are currently on the Executive Committee are not eligible to receive a scholarship during that year.
One or more scholarships are available each year and are competitive. All scholarship decisions by NAPBPRO are final and non-appealable.
Apply Today! The application DEADLINE is February 28, 2025.
